Join Jacob Burch and Eric Stephen in a very special and cathartic episode of the True Blue LA podcast. We welcomed longtime member Madeleine St. Marie (aka Maddz) to offer a different perspective on the Dodgers' struggles this season, including the current seven-game losing streak.

We expressed cautious optimism for the pending return of Zack Greinke, and talked about just where the blame lies for all these injuries, the Dodgers lackluster performance this year, and just about everything. But most of all we answered a ton of  questions, in which we learned Maddz prefers muffins to donuts for some weird reason, and I laid out my complicated and strict rules for wearing a baseball cap to a major league game.

Join Jacob Burch and Eric Stephen as we celebrate the return of Hanley Ramirez to the Dodgers in the latest episode of the True Blue LA podcast. This was recorded before Ramirez injured his hamstring.

Unfortunately it was also accompanied by injuries of varying severity to Mark Ellis and Carl Crawford. We talked about the debut of Matt Magill, the up then way down of Ted Lilly, and the pending return of Chris Capuano to the Dodgers' starting rotation.

We even talked about our favorite at-bat music, and what we might choose if we were major league players.

Dodgers pitchers may be dropping like flies, but that didn't stop Jacob Burch and Eric Stephen from recording another episode of the podcast.

Chad Billingsley needing Tommy John surgery and being out for the year was our main topic of conversation, and we discussed how the Dodgers rotation might look in the next couple of weeks. We talked the return of Ted Lilly, the pending return of Chris Capuano, and other pitchers in the minors waiting their turn.

No Dodgers pitchers were harmed in the recording of this podcast episode.

Join Jacob Burch and Eric Stephen as we welcome Brandon Lennox to talk all things Dodgers, in both the majors and minor leagues. We recapped the mostly negative week or so for the Dodgers since the Zack Greinke injury and brawl (this was recorded Friday night), and much more.

Brandon went over his top prospects, his process, and what made him decide to rank 218 minor league prospects. He also gave his thoughts on the question of "Why don't the Dodgers just move Yasiel Puig to third base?" that seems to come up with amazing regularity.

After a week away from the microphones, Jacob Burch and Eric Stephen talk about the opening week of the season and both of our impressions of the revamped Dodger Stadium.

We talked about what we liked about the changes to Dodger Stadium as well as what we didn't like, such as having two unneeded hosts before the game. We both marveled at the opening week for Clayton Kershaw, which included two wins, a shutout, 16 scoreless innings, and one memorable home run.

We got a ton of questions for this episode, so thanks for those. To get any questions answered on a future episode, please email us at tblapodcast@gmail.com. The questions don't even have to be baseball related, though baseball questions are preferred.

The final podcast of 2013 spring training is upon us, as Jacob Burch and Eric Stephen discuss the final position battles in camp and the ramifications of the Hanley Ramirez thumb surgery.

Eric was sufficiently worried that he might have to eat a hat during the podcast, which was recorded a couple of hours before Yasiel Puig was optioned to Double-A Chattanooga.

Jacob and Eric also contemplate the designated hitter in the National League, and the ramifications of modern changes on the game of our youth, including the importance of the All-Star Game, interleague play, and more.

Join Jacob Burch and Eric Stephen as we recapped the week in Yasiel Puig news, plus talked about various Dodgers injuries, including Hanley Ramirez, Zack Greinke, and Carl Crawford.

Note: this was recorded before knowing for sure that Ramirez would need surgery and would miss eight weeks.

Neither of us had Tim Federowicz winning the backup catcher spot in our roster predictions, so it was the first of many times we will be wrong this season.

Thanks for all the questions we received this week, a huge increase over the previous week.

Join Jacob Burch and Eric Stephen as we recapped the week that was in Dodgers baseball, including Carl Crawford's return to the practice field, Zack Greinke's return to Los Angeles to have his elbow examined.

But perhaps more importantly, I give my review of the famed Dr. Pepper Burger, which sadly didn't live up to the advanced billing. Even worse, the customer service at the home of the Dr. Pepper Burger was some of the worst I have ever experienced.

We talked more Yasiel Puig, and I vowed to eat one hat should Yasiel Puig be named to the opening day roster for the Dodgers.

Join Jacob Burch and Eric Stephen as we looked back on the last week of Dodgers spring training at Camelback Ranch. A lot of the talk centered around three outfielders, with the emergence of Yasiel Puig, the return of Matt Kemp, and the setback of Carl Crawford.

We talked about what a Dodgers opening day roster might look like without Crawford, and debated which racy song Steve Ames might have sung to win Dodgers Idol on Sunday, though on Tuesday morning (post podcast taping) we found out it was 'Dick in a Box.'

Jacob was at his home in Kansas, while Eric was on location at Metro Sportz Bar & Grill in Phoenix. Yes, with a z. Eric gave the listener a chance to hear my real-time reaction to their 'evil' chicken wings, that turned out to be not so evil. But a return visit was clinched because of an item on the menu known simply as the Dr. Pepper Burger.
